Vintage Hor D'Oeuvres Serving Tray

This beautiful Vintage Hors D’Oeuvres Serving Tray has a story to tell, having been brought to life after being rescued from an old villa previously owned by Palmerston North Hospital before being sold to a developer and demolished.

Originally made by Sovereign Woodworkers Ltd in Whanganui sometime in the 1960’s or 1970’s, this Vintage Hors D’Oeuvres Serving Tray is crafted from New Zealand native timbers.

We carefully sanded the tray to remove the original lacquer which was cracked and peeling, then re-sealed it using Resene Qristal Clear Polyurethane making it food-safe and which also highlighted the beautiful grain of the timbers.  The tray is (L) 330mm x (W) 206mm x (H) 18mm in size.
